Charlie Mccoy was the elder brother of Kansas Joe Mccoy and one of the great blues accompianists of his era.He played guitar and mandolin alongside Bo Carter,Tommy Johnson(cool drink of water) the Mississippi sheiks,theMississippi Hotfooters, the Harlem Hamfats and his sister in law Memphis Minnie to name a few.
This was recorded on September 22 1929 at the Peabody Hotel Memphis
