Go to vintagefilmarsenal.com to purchase a full-length 1hr, 8min. DVD of "USS KITTY HAWK" which includes a soundtrack. Home movies filmed by AO1 John R. Cooper aboard the Kitty Hawk during 1966-67 -- including flightdeck activity, UNREPS, and overflights by Soviet Bombers.
A friend of mine was a DJ for KTTY on board around that time - I'll see if he still has airchecks from then; it would go nice with your footage.

I was attached to VA85 (Black Falcons) during that Westpac. "Smiling" Ron Hays was the Squadron C.O. at that time. Went on to make "Four Star", I hear.

I'd have used "Keep the Customer Satisfied"by Simon & Garfunkel as the soundtrack. It was my Uncle Chief Petty Officer Liles E. Watters' favorite song.He served on CV-63 from 1964-69.He was a Navy fireman. He was killed by a drunk driver on 11 April 1970.

And when we pulled into port they would let a fue of us paint the side of the shop how nice of them. When i left that last hour i told them all to eat shit and choke on it.
