Since the 1500's and some say even before that, Turnbull Canyon between the modern day cities of Whittier and Hacienda Heights CA. Has been the site for countless urban legends, paranormal, supernatural and occult stories. From Satanic cults, Hangman's Tree, Ghostly Indian War Drum Sounds, Insane Asylum, Dead Pools, Witches House, Weird Creatures, Gravity Hill, mysterious airplane-airline crash, to the infamous "Gates of Hell", just to name but a few. But also the site of many tragic accidents, suicides, homicides and those that still remain mysterious and unsolved. Condemned by local churches as a place of evil and where the Devil resides. During the early history of the native american tribes of southern california, turnbull canyon was the site of countless battles. Both with other tribes and with spanish conquistadors. Other than to do battle, the native americans refused to go anywhere near this place. They called it Hutukngna which means, "the dark place" or "the devil's place". Another major traggic event was the suicide of land grant owner William Workman in the canyon. Attracted by all the lore and mystery, a group of young local brave ghost hunters in which we wish to remain anonymous. Took it upon ourselves to try and finally put all those stories and legends to the test. So on the most important night of the Occult known as Walpurgisnacht, we decided to do the unthinkable and what nobody has ever done. To venture deep into the canyon starting at midnight and come face to face with the unknown. But, what we found and encountered would scare the living hell out of anybody who would go there at night and but also finally put some real evidence behind some of these stories. So this is our video. But be warned, its not for the weak at heart. Seeing is believing, so you judge for yourself....
P.S. While shooting the video we experienced many strange technical difficulties that remain unsolved. Which caused a lot of authentic paranormal footage to be missing. In which we are very disappointed and very sad to say.... There are no plans about ever filming a second video.
Yeh man, I went there at 2 in the morning, turned off my car head lights and just used a head lamp. I was looking around with my face real close to the fence and I heard some noise. I was like, what the fuck, and out of nowhere, i got kick in the head. It was Chuck Norris dude! He was dressed in barbed wire too!

I live near here...i've never seen anything weird except that on day i heard about a girl being dragged behind a car...I was a senior at los altos so that was in 2002.
I always hope to see some crazy shit just pop up in my head lights at night...zombies would be preferable :)
