Samson Hill Climb on a KNOBBY KTM 525

Samson is conquered on a KNOBBY TIRE. This hill is far worse then the video depicts. I made it four days prior on a Paddle Tire. If you study the top of the hill at the end, you will see my track from my first attempt just a few minutes earlier. I lost traction towards the top and it was like ice. I decided to drop the pressure a few pounds and use third gear to gain more momentum at the bottom so I could back off towards the top. See original Samson for more information.

Very nice work. The other vid of you doing this hill with the paddle doesn't really show how steep it is. This vid definitely does.

@rufusz Yes, no problem starting in third. I did not shift. Very short run before the hill starts. KTM 525 has a lot of low rpm power.

You started in 3rd gear and slipped the clutch a few feet (with throttle pinned) ?
