The SEPECAT Jaguar is an Anglo-French jet ground attack aircraft still in service with several export customers, notably the Indian Air Force and the Royal Air Force of Oman. It was among the first major Anglo-French military aircraft programs. The aircraft served as one of the French Air Force's main strike/attack aircraft until 1 July 2005 (when it was replaced by Dassault Rafale) and with the Royal Air Force until the end of April 2007
Those airplanes were perfect:
1) Cheap, 2) Could survive to the nuclear bombing of their airbase (inside tunnels)
3) Could take-off from the grass or a highway (without too much weight)
4) With modern Infrared imaging would not need the radar.
5) With GPS they won't need the Radar Altimeter of Panavia Tornados.
6) If they Israelis took them and installed Python IV and Python V missiles
with 7) Head mounted display &lauch.. perfect for low altitude
dogfight
CONS: Of NO use to bomb Libya!

It's a waste that they're not around anymore. Surly, there must be some role that they could have filled in the modern battlefield? They could have been sold to augment smaller nation's Air Forces.
