The USGS reports that Yellowstone has had well over a thousand Earth quakes in only seven days almost non-stop.
3 years in a row, about the same time, it gets worse and worse at Yellowstone. That equals a trend.

I wish people would give up on the pointless praying....might be time to duck and cover..... Scientists say a full eruption is highly unlikely though. Of course, they like to keep the general public in the dark on things like this.

ash is bad mmmkay
It seems they are moving....which may indicate that magma is on the move - possibly near eruption phase.
Now would be a very good time to pray hard.

A magma eruption appears to be unlikely at this time, but a phreatic eruption may be possible. Check out Wikipedia for more details on this.

That seems like it would be just as bad, as it would still spew gasses and ash into the atmosphere.
Or am I wrong there?

Yes, it would be bad as it would probably create a new relatively small crater (football field sized maybe) in Yellowstone lake and spread some ash and debris in the surrounding regions, but it would be nowhere as bad as a new large and explosive magmatic eruption like the one occurred 640000 years ago which created the last caldera (which is 55 kilometers long and 72 kilometers wide).
