Lensman - Secret of the Lens [Harmony Gold] (1/9)

Classic anime based on E. E. Doc Smith's science fiction novels, and alleged to have been directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Ninja Scroll, Demon City, Vampire Hunter D, etc.). This is another one of those greats that they just couldn't make today.

Universally slated, never issued on DVD, best anime soundtrack ever likewise never issued on CD due to lost mastertapes...........

Next you'll tell me the King of Pop Michael Jackson is dead.

I've watched  this dozens of times ...I love it !!!too bad that the most extraordinary part of this film (sound)was ruined.thanks very much mate for uploading this.by the way the soundtrack is E-P-I-C.

@Wyrmshadow No they didn't. This was made first in 1984, it wasn't released on VHS so Harmony Gold recycled the music for Sentinels afterwards. It is officially Lensman music. Shame on you for thinking otherwise !

The reason it's never been on DVD is because Doc Smith's estate has loudly expressed their desire to take a softball bat to everyone involved since the movie has nothing to do with Lensmen.
