This highlights package (day 1 and 2) shows the fun, colour and spectacle that is the XXXX Gold Variety Bash.
The 2010 XXXX Gold Variety Queensland Port to Port Bash raised a net profit of $1.2 million for Queensland children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
The annual Bash event is the reward for Bash teams who year after year spend their weekends and spare time running raffles, sausages sizzles and various fundraisers in almost every town across Qld. The event this year saw over 400 people in 156 cars traverse 3,000kms from Southport to Port Douglas from 29th July to 6th August.
Bashers were treated to nine days of glorious Qld outback scenes as well as the coastal and rainforest delights of Far North Qld as they travelled through towns such as Gympie, Biloela, Emerald, Aramac, Charters Towers, Innisfail, Tinaburra and their final destination Port Douglas.
