KimberlyKent.org was there as 50+ protesters spoke out against Florida Governor Rick Scott's decision to essentially give back 2.4 billion dollars of federal stimulus money set aside for High Speed Rail in our state, among other things.
This video features pictures and video interviews from the event. I want to thank all those who took the time to speak with me.

First off, the rail system would have cost the tax payers hundreds of million. Second, spending 2.4 Billion on a temporary and unmanageable system is a waste. Third, that money should be used to pay off some of the nation debt.
Why do people think we "have' to spend it? Economic stupidity!
Florida is too rural for a rail system like this....it would never work. They only work in big cities for rural commuters and inner city travel.

thanks kids we want jobs, JOBS!! JOBS!!! I love this, your also going to love this, I copy something off the article saying, "The sudden shift may have been triggered by a possible lawsuit against Scott contending he has overstepped his authority by killing the train. The suit, which could be filed as soon as Monday, is expected to argue that a law passed by the Legislature during a special session in 2009 compels Scott to pursue the train.
