You can cut hand rail "spokes" by "hand" even making 45 degree cut angles?.....How? Watch this clip & see just how easy it is to cut 45 degree angles to handrail spokes by "hand".....no power tools needed. You "can"do this even if you don't have any power tools or "want" to spend the money needed to buy a power tool just so you can finish your deck repair. Cutting 45 degree angles to handrail spokes is easy.....once you "know" how. Need some painting tips for your next paint project? Visit: www.videojoeknows.com

  • good video... i wanted to see how to do this type of cut without spending money on equipment... a little bit of muscle work, but if you're only doing 10 cuts, you don't need to spend hundreds on tools.

  • @montyloree You're exactly correct. I only needed to install one spindle & I had a skilsaw only but I wanted to get a really good 45 degree cut without messing up. That's why I thought I would show you how to do it this way. Very inexpensive way plus you can use the backsaw & mitre box for other projects as well. Such a deal! Thanks for your comments. Joe :0

  • You should never place your saw on concrete.

Doing this will dull or damage the cutting teeth.

Always have a piece of timber or something softer than steel to rest your saw on between cuts.

  • @swagonwheels I was being careful but your point is well taken. Thank you for your suggestions. Joe :0

  • cool

  • @BLink2fu I thought I would show this quick video clip to show that you *can* cut your spokes even if you don't have an electric skil saw. I don't want you to have to spend alot of money to complete your project if you're only making some repairs & don't think you'll need a skil saw in the near future. Keep watching. Joe :0

  • @swagonwheels another dogmatic liberal. how about reframing your rigidity by suggesting he place a protective layer between the saw, work, and concrete. "never" is used to instruct the stupid and ignorant who are unable to be careful or make informed decisions once a suggestion is offered. He replied politely to your belligerence. Good for him. I am best. I am the leader. I want to pee, pee, pee. Skip to my doo my darlin'
