So from the very first episode, I've loved Rory, and have since been terribly afraid that the writers would make Amy/Rory like Rose/Mickey, ie imperfect, unlovable, flawed, and just not right for one another. But they couldn't have done any better at calming my fears. Rory/Amy might just be one of my favorite ships ever. The pretty girl and the geek are usually ships I love (hello, Seth/Summer) and these two are definitely no exception.

So for my first video of series 5, I knew it had to be these two. Rory's line "Was it something I said?" in 5x07 made me realize I HAD to vid them to this song, because their relationship is far from perfect, yet they keep trying to make it work. If Amy realized that she didn't want to live in a world where Rory didn't exist anymore, doesn't that say it all?

I love Amy/Rory and I am so glad to see you vidding them. I mean Amy/11's relationship is very interesting, but to me they're 100% platonic. And this video was so sweet and heartfelt it was refreshing.  And 11 clapping in the background at the end made me smile. :D

I have just finished watching Season 5 of Dr Who and I absol-freakin-love Rory. He's the 'everyman' character, consistantly overshadowed by the Doctor's brain's and Amy's daring. But his devotion and unfazing love for Amy just melts your heart. You can truly see his pain and fear whenever Amy becomes giddy and excited at something done or said by the Doctor. This song and clip is a fitting tribute. Who sings it? Please I must know :-)
