It's called being politically & socially savvy. Warren is in the position where, due in part to his wealth, almost everybody listens to him. If he were to disrespect the president in such a way, a) it would look bad for Warren, b) he'd start a war and bipartisan politics would become even more of a curse, and c) he'd make an awful lot of enemies.
Part of being good in business (and a good human being) is knowing when to talk and when to shut up. You may be lacking this skill.
