1st start since I brought her home today. Still lots and lots to do. Probably a few months from having her 100%. Hopefully she'll be complete for Bronco Rubicon run. I plan on taking it to Knott's Berry Farm, Fabulous Fords Forever on the second weekend of April, for everyone to get a look see.

  • How did you get around the passive anti theft system? Or did you use an aftermarket ECU?

  • @MATTCARMD Accel makes a stand alone computer. It uses a basic ignition setup. I'm running like a '60 something Cougar key fob.

  • WOW! Now I REALLY want a 60's Bronco!! That so sweet man!!

Being housofdiesel and all, you considering a diesel swap? A 4BT would be wicked in there and we know they can pump out some power with a few mods :) Not sure if a 6BT would fit.

A Detroit Diesel 3-53 or 4-53 would be wicked also!

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX I have a 4.5 Navistar/International V6 on the floor in my garage right now ready for tear down and build. 90% of the parts are identical to the 6.0 so it'll be a walk in the park to modify. Plan is for a rear engine competition rig and I'm going to try and fit an early bronco body around it. Since the motor is basically 75% of a 6.0 that should put me at around 350 RWHP and 650-700 LBTQ in a 3000K rig. It'll be my best one yet.
