A ridiculously-incredible instrument. WOWWOWWOW
I'd love to have one in my possession for about 24 hours; there's at least 20 tunes I'd like to record using it...!!

The latter, i.e., the bridge was set so the intonation was right. The action was fairly high (note my right hand is over the fingerboard), so a fair amount of compensation was called for.

I love it!!

hi, are you using light guage strings on your whyte laydie? Beautiful banjo by the way.

You know, I have no idea what strings were on it--they were whatever was on it when I got it!

Hey Zepp do you have any idea how the morgan monroe cameron with the whyte laydie tone ring sounds? have you heard it anywhere

With the right setup, it sounds fine--there are a number of WL tone rings on the market--Stew Mac makes one, and Samick makes one used by Gold Tone and Morgan Monroe, etc. They can all sound good!
