@johnditmo ohh now i see.. i should have probably read the comment marked as spam first... he has a problem with both philips playing and the "satriani crap" on the guitar... but ironically philips has actually played with satriani and many other great players

Go to his website and take a look at his discography. He's he's recorded/toured with ... everyone from The Who, to The Pretenders to Toto to Jeff Beck, Judas Priest, Asia, Peter Gabriel and *many* in between... Even Joe Satriani, ironically enough.
There are many drummers out there you could say "don't make a name for themself". Simon Phillips is definitely not one of them.
