Tonight marks the anniversary of my very first concert ever, Sam's, held at Universal Amphitheater, I will remember that night always. I've had the honor of seeing Sam perform live 3 times in my life. The concert, Jesus Christ Superstar, and in the lounge of a hotel on a night when he wasn't quite feeling well and still he performed and sounded wonderful :)

@expat26 I agree. I have never forgotten this since I saw it 25 years ago. Never knew who it was, but remember being bowled over at the time. Great to be able to put a name (and even video) to the memory!

This, in my opinion, just may have to be greatest vocal performance by a male that I've ever heard. I always loved Judy Garland's version, but Sam Harris took it and made it his own. Simply spectacular! Thanks for sharing this to bring back such great memories!

expat26, we hope you have caught up to the more recent and mature version. Sam recorded with full orchestra with Peter Matz, who produced many Barbra Streisand album. You can download at: samtunes(.)NET
