Pandeiro freestyle

I recently bought a pandeiro in Brazil and i started training and it is going pretty good so i decided to put a video on youtube to see what other percussionist think about my playing style and if i could get some pointers.

Thanks for the compliment, I'm actually from Curacao a small island of the coast of Venezuela it is next to Bonaire, i've lived in Holland for 4 years but i'm back in the caribbean where I belong i think i'll stick to Curacao.

you look exactly like a singer that I used to play with. I had to do a double take, but on second glance you have a much flatter gut than he did, haha. brought back memories though. Anyway, your playing is great man! I'm surprised you havent gotten more props from other players, cause your one of the better (american?) pandeiro players i've seen on the tube. I'm not sure which finger you are using for the rolls, but i find the middle finger the easiest, but thats just preference. Where you from?

jingle accents (that is to say accenting a beat where you are only playing the jingles). this can be done by means of a co-ordinated tap at a higher velocity with the right-left hand combination (either with the heel of the hand or with the tips of the fingers) it can also be done with an accent manifested just by means of the left hand (this is the most common form of accent after a down beat when playing samba).
