@TheDailyConversation I think you're wrong. The Republicans like to tell people the exact opposite of what is true. If they held a box of Cocoa Pebbles in their hand and Sarah Palin said that it was a box of Fruity Pebbles, they would go to their graves believing it. Often people distort the truth, but in this case, like others, they just say the EXACT OPPOSITE and the morons believe it. Why this works is beyond me, but it seems to be a very effective tactic. Just say the opposite of what it is.

"government will be delivering information to your doctor at bedside to guide decisions at the time and place of care." .. to help guide medical decisions.

Section 1233 was authored by the former hemlock society, Compassion and Choices. The same ones behind the VA death Book. You are young and trusting. we am old and not trusting. That is how we wound up old. Foxnews did not brain wash us and feed us this. We have been researching this stuff for years. Who do you think e-mail them their news tips. LOL Son, wake up and look around. You are being scammed.
I am fortunate to live in a country with universal health care. My mother requested DNR (do not resuscitate) on her chart. It was her choice with no pressure and they respected her wishes. She was in the hospital for years before her death (she was 84). This was all free - it is very different from people who want health care but can't afford it. I have a living will and I made the choices that are right for me - I am lucky to live in a country where economics was not a variable in my choices.
