where can i go glider flying?
-
It's just the acceleration you need to get used to...
200-250 kW vs 600kg isn't what You get in your everyday car I assume ; )

is the launch really fast ? coz im going gliding but i amworried about the launch

Nothing to worry about. The launch is about 65 knots, or 70 mph, probably slightly slower than you drive your car along a motorway. You will be carefully trained how to safely handle a winch launch anyway.

glider is always dangerous, if you dont know what you are doing. specially on prediction skills and airspeed vs time managerment.

Any activity can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing! That is why all glider pilots have to undergo a course of dual instruction before they are allowed to fly solo.

The second song at 3:58 definately makes this video for me. I know the song but I'm not sure of the title or artist... anyway, that song combined with the scenery is a really beautiful combination. Great video. Thanks!

The second song is called 'I (just) died in your arms tonight' by Cutting Crew.
The first song is 'Spirit in the Sky' by Norman Greenbaum BTW.
The rather nice rural scenery surrounds Lasham Airfield in Hampshire.
