All people make mistakes, even the pope.. the important thing is that you realize that you made a mistake and that you always try to improve yourself for God.

RIP Irena, your reward is now with God.

This world is very strange - though she had saved 2,5 thousand human lives
and had put her life in danger she did not deserve the Nobel Prize while
such a man as Barack Obama, just for his Presidency and empty promises, was
granted the Nobel Prize. Thus, this Prize is worth as much as those empty
promises, namely ZERO.

Her prize is not in this world, but she has many riches in the afterlife now. RIPeace Irena and thank you God for showing us her story as a moral compass and model for human behavior.

Sorry sillygrandpa, I don't follow you. I didn't know the other half needed addressing. What did Lutheran Germany have to do with Catholic Polish people?All I did was dispute that Catholicism was behind Ms Sendlerova's thinking. I believe she gained her caring nature from her parents. They were very much in supporting the downtrodden Jews long before the nazi invasion and before Irena was born.
