In 2000, "The Urban Elephant" brought viewers the touching story of Shirley and Jenny, two crippled elephants reunited at The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee after a 22-year separation. The bonding was immediate, intense and unforgettable between the two former circus elephants. But long after the cameras were turned off, the wondrous moments would continue.

Solomon is a great man. and Shirley is a great elephant. What wonderful friends they were for so long. It looked like Shirley was crying as Solomon was talking to her at the last part.

I agree with Betty's comment below. I would like to hug Solomon and I'm a grown man...not ashamed! Solomon is a saint and should be recognized for his devotion and humanity towards Shirley!?
