You people are too heavy-handed and you're not doing our cause justice. You're bent on causing friction without a clear resolve. I'm sorry. The honking is piddly; just let it go. That must be the most irrational reply to the police officer that he could have possibly said. I don't like the Lancaster Police much, but he was being reasonable.

They should have just focused on their cause, not bickering with the police.
