What is the piece you use to open the hood, is it a spring? or is it geared?

@Sheepo86 I am planning on building a Porsche 959, am an advanced mindstorms builder, and would like to include some detailed features. The car is going to be about 1:7-1:8 scale and I'm not sure what should go in it other than the RC part with a gearbox (Which I've already made). any ideas?
