Why not just watch Part 2?

Questions:
#1- Why do you feel that homosexuality is wrong?
#2- How does this directly affect you?
#3- How far do you feel is appropriate to take average rights away from the homosexual community?

RULES for answers:
#1- No Biblical answers. I am aware of all of them, and they mean nothing to me. (No offense, just my way of seeing things)
#2- You are not allowed to use the same arguments that have been used a million times over. Originality and individual responses are my goal here.

(And i just got out of the shower, for those who are curious about my Cowardly Lion appearance!)

How does logic or science prove religion wrong ?

How does logic or science prove putting a mans penis in another mans anus is right ?

  • @defender4uk I am not going to say logic/science always prove religion wrong, but I will say it is far simpler to manipulate religion to get what you want through the sheep masses. Sadly, because of this, we often hold ourselves back in our technological advancement as a result. As for proving anal sex to be "right", I think you and I both know that is a preposterous question, my friend.

  • Christians hate logic they just use the bible, science prove religion wrong.

  • @81sci I don't think all of them do this intentionally. Many know nothing else but religion, as it has been saturated in every aspect of their lives since birth. Others hold their faith so tight, they simply will not allow themselves to see the world as anything else. I have learned through much facepalming that attempts to reach them in any other way is about as effective as smashing one's face into the concrete.

  • @choirgrrl

    I see religion like any other addiction;

they all want you to join them (come on, one drink won't hurt you). and

the won't quit till they're ready.

  • @vibrant151 For many, it is an addiction. Those are ones that scare me. The people who just believe whatever they choose to are fine, I really only take issue when it is shoved down my throat.

  • @SeaWolfe59 And that is no offense to you in any way... I'm just unable to see the Xtian side. I just can't. And it seems they cannot see mine. That seems to be the way it is from my experience through responses here.

  • @SeaWolfe59 I honestly don't see the difference you're trying to convey here. I suppose that makes me unable to comprehend "simple logic". Enlighten me. I don't count you out because you are a Xtian, quite the opposite, in fact. I am just tired of defending myself, explaining myself, and arguing points that will never change for either side. It's exhausting. My mental location is so far beyond right here in this topic.

  • @choirgrrl

I thought I would get an honest, thoughtful response from you judging by the way you posed the discussion. Are you not willing to see the simple logic in my statement? Your use of the word judgement is in error. This does not make sense to you? Or, since I am a Christian you just count me out? If so, I find that prejudicial, closed-minded and disappointing.

  • @choirgrrl At this point I figure I have read the darned thing front to back, and will just go by what I took from it, which was just more questions and confusion.
