Rapid Imaging Software (RIS)

Rapid Imaging Software (RIS) was founded in 1984, to produce imaging software for personal computers. In 1995 they began formulating the LandForm™ product line, which permits users to fly through virtual terrain. LandForm was quickly adopted by NASA, with whom they have worked extensively creating flight visualization tools used in flight testing the X-38 and other Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. The LandForm product line has grown to reflect their role as the provider of cutting edge desktop flight visualization tools.
