This takes me back! Games were so harsh back then- you could spend ages and get really far with no opportunity to save, and then suddenly a single mistake sends you right back to the start!

I used to play this game loads, even still have the sticker that came in the package. After a while I mastered the motorbike and made some good jumps. There was also a cheat / bug where if you pressed the joystick button as you started the ramp, you could just ride past and it thought you'd made the jump. If you rode enough in the other direction there was a sort of bridge thing that I always tried to get across but never made it.
