Sorry, but the correct pronunciation of the name Maria Elena whether in English or Spanish doesn't have any silent letters. Lyrically the first E may sound silent, but it is tied with the last a in Maria and correctly pronounced is distinguishable. And what I meant by his pronunciation was it would have sounded better if he didn't use an English accent. I always hate when people pronounce it in English. It loses its flair
