@Xb0xFr33k2012 First of all doing it by hand will take forever and like doing anything CHEAP and the WRONG WAY you wont get much of a result, you want to learn how to do this right go to Junkman2000 and watch his vids, doing this by hand, HA, paper towels, HA, jeez, you need the orbital buffer, the right pads and the right compounds, go check him out if u wanna learn.

This would probably work for single stage paint but for base & clear coat paint like most people have, I used rubbing compound (supposed to be more aggressive) and it took forever - so I would not recommend polishing compound. I had really heavy oxidation, the clear coat was chalky and you could scrape it off with your fingernail, but it was hard to get off. But rubbing compound got most of it off.

i did both polishing compound and wax but it didnt work on my car....... any other options??
