Mass-rape of Sikh women by Indian soldiers

Operation Shudi Karan was carried out to convert Sikh Girls into the Hindu faith,Shudi Karan means conversion,it was used a an interogation tool to find the where abouts of Sikh Freedom Fighters,it was used physcologically to instill fear within the Sikh Panth so that they would ultimately be demoralised and would give up their fight for freedom,the horror and sheer terror of Shudi Karan was designed to finish of any Sikh Movement that was left,army officers at times for fun would carry out 'Shudi Karan' rape at their urge just to satisfy themselves,it was used as a metaphor to tell Sikhs that they will be finished off and that their offspring will not be Sikhs but children born out of Shudi Karan as Hindus.This was the way it was used to instill fear and demoralise Sikhs so that they would bow down to the tyrants of Delhi who were raping their girls and killing their children and blowing up their places of worship
