Working families in Indiana launched a new television entitled 'What,' that features Governor Daniels in his own words opposing Right to Work for Less. In his speech to the Teamsters in 2006 Daniels opposed any changes to Indiana's labor laws and said, "...certainly not a Right to Work law."

The ad will run following Governor Daniels' response to the State of the Union on broadcast networks in Indiana and nationally on CNN and MSNBC.

"I have said, over and over... I'm a supporter of the labor laws we have in the state of Indiana, I'm not interested in changing any of them, not the prevalent wage laws, certainly not a right to work law." - Indiana's (R) Mitch Daniels, 9/3/2006, in a speech to the Teamsters Union

Once elected, he changed his tune.

That's the same tune Wisconsin's (R) Scott Walker, Ohio's (R) John Kasich, and Florida's (R) Rick Scott are all singing. (Or trying to.)

    Coincidence? NOT.

    A.L.E.C. Google it.

RoughAcres is 100 percent on the money. Kasich, Walker, Scott, Snyder and Daniels are all on the Koch bros gravy train/payroll. They do not represent tax paying constituents- they represent the robber barron corporate elites.

I wonder why so many union members supported Walker in Wisconsin. Could it be that they don't like their union and didn't have any options? Walker gave them options.

Yup, they make lots of money and they get tax breaks. They also spend and invest a lot of money. Both actions create jobs. If it weren't for rich folks like the Koch brothers many of us wouldn't have jobs - including you.

As for Daniels being a liar, these comments are from 2006. At that time, he was focused on fixing the worst problems in Indiana. Now it's 2012 and the priorities are different.

until this law passed in indiana people could not stop union dues being taken from there pay checks. i worked in a union shop and i was told day one that if i wanted the job i had to belong to the union. so you are either stupid or more likely a liar.

NO ONE IS FORCING ANYONE TO JOIN A UNION. Just like non Union people say "If you don't like the way it is, leave". Same goes for those who don't want to pay Union dues. Where do people get this nonsense from?

i was in the UAW. i was a stweward also.

unions, like most things today, are not what they were 50 years ago. they are as out of control as big business and our own government.

I was a Union steward for quite a while and I would NEVER protect a drunk or some bastard who became lazy. And I would NOT go to bat for you if you exceeded your allowable accidents. I had one guy who had three in a year and I told him it was time to look for another job. To me being drunk at work (driving a truck) is equal to looking for someone to kill. Being Union means you are held to a higher standard.

You're right Bro, we need to do our fucking homework and tell our Union reps who WE want to put our clout behind. It's too easy for one Union leader to be corrupted by money or whatever to sway our vote.
