Though "Santa Baby" must be her signature song, I prefer this song and think this version tops the rest of all. And I was amazed to read the profile of Eartha Kitt.
How miserable her childhood was! I am a kind in awe of her talent as a singer.
May God rest her in peace.

この歌詞は良く覚えていますが歌っていたのは日本人、多分江利チエミさんだったと思います。
この曲を聴いていると小学生時代のとりとめのない情景が目に浮かびます。

そうですね。江利チエミ盤が一番流行っていたのだと思います。そのキング盤に対抗してコロムビアでは後にライオネル・ハンプトン楽団のバンドシンガーに抜擢される星野みよ子のレコードをだしていたことを最近知りました。
それもＵＰしておいたのでお聴き下さい。
