Call the Southwestern Oregon CC fire science program at 1-800-962-2838, ext. 7296. We have four departments in the Coos Bay, Oregon area that have resident cadet (sleeper) positions. These students get their fire and EMS (up through paramedic) at SWOCC.

I dont think that the country only has 11 programs... I have been a Resident Fire Fighter at two different departments once while getting my Fire Science degree and now while getting my Paramedic....Does that mean there is only 9 more left?

i wish thsy had a program like that where i am from..... i have been tryin to get on with a fire depatment but it just seems like everyone wants guys that are already trained...
