It's NOT the SEC per se. It's the system. Imagine if you will that the Mountain West starts getting an automatic bid and the SEC not any longer. In 5 years, all the talent would naturally drift toward the opportunity to play on the big stage, which would be the Mountain West. Change the system, and the talent follows. Hence, make all winners of conferences eligible for a playoff, and the talent would be spread out over all the teams. This is the only fair way. Nuff said....
