  • Viva Bledsoe! anyone who talks shit about Bledsoe is illiterate about football.

  • Top three people in Patriots history, in order:

    1) Robert Kraft ( Rejected buy-out and kept team in New England instead of St. Louis )

    2) Drew Bledsoe ( Brought the team back to life when it was on it's death bed )

    3) Bill Belichick ( Drafted Tom Brady )

Without Kraft the Patriots would have been playing in St. Louis since 1994.

  • Let me know if there are any pictures in this reel, or anywhere else, where I can see Drew Bledsoe facedown on the turf, immobile.

  • @Patriotsonly

gotta include Parcells as well. in a way he paved the way to what new england has become

  • Usually a highlight reel implies some video footage. This picture collaboration is a complete and utter waste of time.

  • Drew Bledsoe to the Jets

  • There should be statues of both drew bledsoe and bill parcells at patriot place (as well as bob kraft). arguably without those two everything that has happened since may not have happened.

  • @Budafinga I agree with your post on this. Drew Bledsoe basically came in and finished off the Steelers when Brady wasn't doing so great of a job.

  • Bledsoe was a good quarterback that was just involved in an awful lot of bad circumstances. He has dealt with so many coaching changes, yet he did good for very many of his years. When Buffalo traded Peerless Price instead of kept the dual threat of him and Eric Moulds, he couldn't do it anymore in Buffalo once their line play started to suffer and his (lack of) mobility became an issue.

  • Bledsoe helped make the Patriot orginization what it is today. All of his hard work and dedacation to that team can't be denied. But at least he did get to taste the victory champange. if he didn't come in for a hurt Brady the AFC champ game vs. Pitt and win it... the Pats don't move on. Great video thanks for posting.

Romo was completing almost 70% of his passes this year (he's still #1 in the league in that category), so he was hardly the problem. A poor running game and no defense was the problem, and the fact that they couldn't protect worth squat eventually got Romo knocked out. Bledsoe was one of my favorite players and I loved him in New England, but injuries caused his skills to diminish. When two teams you started for wind up better when putting you on the bench, that says it all.

C'mon man. Romo has been a solid All-Pro QB for years now and that's a fact. Secondly, teams make Super Bowl's not individual players. Last I checked, the entire Cowboys team sandbagged it under Wade, so let's not blame it all on Romo. And Drew wasn't playing well anymore, let's not blame his own play on the kicker missing field goals. It's not like he was benched by some also-ran coach. It was Bill Parcells who pulled the plug. Bill knew Bledsoe couldn't play anymore.
