Hi thanks this is great! i have a black shadow but the air sac is visible?? does that mean infertile etc i have no veins or dots yet 4 days
i do have 2 with black dots one egg has 2 now i confused lol you must be local to me with your accent lol Can you tell me the model of the incubator so i can get a replacement thermometer. i made a diy one and that external bent one would be great.

Hello, sorry I took so long to comment, new email. Dudley, now Stourbridge. FERTILE You want to see a dot and dark C shape across the egg and you can see the egg sac. Air sac is more pronounced the longer incubated. The rest darkens and blacks up. INFERTILE If the yolk moves easily to the top with no dot, or dot does not get bigger over say 7 days, then it's infertile or died early. Incubator is Tophatch Lincu Avitec SIL 12 HT holds 18 eggs bought off Ebay for about £100 delivered.
