@hourzones If people just insult his intelligence and claim that he should never play stealth games again, that's just a baseless nonconstructive critic. If they explain why the controls are the way they are and direct him to useful resources designed to familiarize him with the game, then that's constructive. Usually, the latter comes in a more detailed thoughtful form. Many end up as top comments.

The game does tell you everything you need to know, you just got to look for it, and ask for help from the Codec.

@hourzones criticism can be constructive without being insulting. People shouting "you're doing it wrong" isn't helping phil to play the game. If you were to suggest that phil should use the codec and more of his items at his disposal instead of run-n-gun style play, that can only benefit his playthrough, and in no way is insulting.
