Yes! They are both almost black horses that are AMAZON big!!! Also Ruffian and Zenyatta are undefeated fillies. (except for the race Ruffian died in).

Zenyatta is AWESOME! I wish her owners would have campaigned her differently, ran her on a more variety of tracks and against the boys. That would bring her more in the public eye and give her more of a chance winning the Horse of the Year.

I think it's because of how easily she owns every field, that makes Zenyatta like Ruffian. Maybe she is the second coming, and we haven't seen everything from her? Oh, that gives me the chills just thinking about it ^^ Good video. I wish Big Brown would get it, I've never seen such heart from a horse. That horse did everything in his power to win every race he was in, but sadly some races will just be out of reach to all horses xP

Because he did nothing really great. Zenyatta won the Breeders Cup and stayed undefeated and Curlin won over $10 million. So it is very different and if Big Brown won the Belmont then he should win Horse of the Year or won the Breeders Cup but he did neither of them.

If you still think he was betting bad fields look at the Clark when Einstein won against Commentator and Einstein finshed seconf to Curlin this year
