  • It seems a little weird to be watching this, considering the fact that I had seizures when I was a kid (due to hydrocephalus). I was on medication until I was thirteen, then it was discontinued, and have had no seizures since.

  • Fantastic video...you are providing a great public service here. I know, I have epilepsy.

  • someone Plz Explain to me what epilepsy is!!! It looks really bad!!!

  • @FLHandSHE Sorry for the late reply, but basically you don't do anything other than what was stated in the video until the person regains consciousness. If they did bite their tongue then you can get some gauze or other suitable material and get them to apply pressure to their tongue.

  • My school nurse is SO STUPID! I have really long seizures.. they last 8-15 minutes. they are tonic clonic seizures. My stupid old bag of dust nurse tires to hold me down! Thank god my teacher who's an EMT walked in because at least HE knows what he's doing.

  • good info

  • Best info video in a long time...

  • My boyfriend has Epilepsy, & it is very scary. ]';

    He always has grand mal seizures.

    Twice he's stopped breathing.

    Seizures are nothing to play around with. .

  • graet job : D

  • My culture is so dumb, they believe that seizures are CONTAGIOUS. If it's contagious, then how come my grandma hadn't caught any of my aunt's seizure? And they've been living together for 40 years!

  • Hi, Thanks for the vid. Great info. I to have hydrocephalus and suffered seizures as an infant. Up until 5 years ago I was seizure free. Since this time I have had 2 seizures on seperate occasions. Most recent, September '09. Simply sitting with my dad and uncle, next thing I know, I'm waking up 9 days later from an induced coma. No clue what had happened. Still have no reason to this day and am back on medication. Thankfully though, I'm still alive to talk about it.

  • Good Video. :)
