A virtual avatar on a real chair thanks to Augmented Reality ? Check out two different ways to do it... with 5 years of work between them, and about 30 more co-workers :-) !

  • still marker-based, just subtle... :-\

  • Actually, neither the first nor the second method is based on markers ! First it's with edges, then it's with textures. No geometrical B&W shapes needed as in marker-based stuff.

  • Very slick software. It has to work to do... I've noticed some "incongruities" that I'm sure will be worked out in time. Eventually I'm sure it will be very smooth!

  • Yes, as usual the last percents of errors to fight against before perfection are the hardest ones.

  • Do you think your ever going to release this to the public?

  • The sooner, the better, I guess :)

  • Hey I was looking at another company also doing ths, can you guys bring an actual Second Life avatar to do that on a chair? Or can your software accomplish that? Thank you, great job by the way.

  • Is there any beta that we can test it out ?

  • I really can't wait for you guys to push this to the envelope and make interactive characters on here, mapping out the human body to "know" when you poke it, or offer it something. As a student in Game art and design I really can't wait to get my hands on this kind of game possibility! Thank you!

  • that is so cool. I cant wait till you release this to the public.

  • You truly amaze me. I have been following your work for a long time. No chance to buy stocks in your company? :)

  • This is the future.. well.. part of it anyway! Keep it up!
