I asked about compression garments before and want to know after wearing a recommended stage 1 garment (for three wks or so) for a tummy tuck can I wear a girdle type shapewear as a stage 2 compression garment rather than spending top dollar at a medical supply store? I want your advice not because of your credentials. Please advise. Annette
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to address concerns, answer questions, plus generally educate us in your chosen field of plastic surgery.
I would like to know why it is necessary to have silicon breast implants changed; how does one know when one should, and what will happen if one doesn't have them changed?
Hi Dr. Suber, My question is about dark pigmented skin and the challenges that poses for plastic surgery. I will eventually need surgery to remove excess skin and I'm concerned about keloids and excess scarring. Any advice on this topic and what to look for in surgeon to ensure decreased scarring with plastic surgery. Thank you.
I also wasn't able to attend the meet and greet but I just wanted to say how great it is that you would take the time to talk to individuals and answer questions without going to your office. I live in PA (a distance from SC for surgery), but I will be having a tummy tuck in Feb. 2009 by Dr. James Yates, he is also a great doctor. I hope you can answer any question I may have in the future, thank you again for you time. Good luck on your upcoming videos. I will be one of many viewers! Annette
Hi Dr. Suber - thanks for doing this. Here is my question - how do you know , as far as the abdomen, what is excess skin and what is still fat that needs to be lost through diet? How do you know when you've lost all you can and the rest is excess skin on your abdomen? Thanks for taking the time to answer this.
Hi! Great to see that you have your own channel. This is great because after you left the meet and greet the other day other questions came up. Thanks for making this video and for meeting with us this weekend. jane
