I call home~was raise here. Never seen such or the linger smell of smoke. In the past month & a half, Colorado Springs has take a beating. City that sits, the base of a Peak Pike Mtn. True test of what can endure, grateful for what is. What is here today, can be gone tomorrow, forever changed. Life is lost in the wild animals, homes are gone. United the people of Colorado Springs.Stand together to battled the rage of the fire that burns & yet to contained. TRUE beauty yet remains~to stand tall!!

Thank you for your message. We must look to the causes for the many fires in the mountains, drought, heat waves, flooding, very bad conditions.  This is the result of global warming. We must acknowledge it and demand that Congress (our representatives) take it seriously. Otherwise, we will see more damage to our earth and our homes. You are right. We have to stand together to battle destruction--and destructive practices that make our world so vulnerable.
