about 1 and 2, I have something to say. If a game is being ported from JPN to ENG like almost all of our games, they'd have to do it anyway. And with all the anthology and collection games they have been releasing, along with the internet. Its not that hard to identify the charecters, you just have to know where to look i.e. wikipedia and gamefaq

Unfortunately, this game will not be coming out in America, due to certain circumstances.

If they ever make a sequel, which a lot of us fans are waiting for, I DEFINITLY want to see Splatter House in it :D
Oh, and from capcom side, Devil May Cry's Dante as well as Onimusha characters would be nice!

Either company would miss out on the chance that people would be interested in these characters, or that they would import the games afterwards to be involved. This game would make millions, and they would be idiots NOT to release it.

Why this won't come out in the US:
1. Having to hire a complete new set of English voice actors to redo all the lines would take a lot of money and time.
2. There's a lot of characters in Namco x Capcom that either never made it to the US or was unpopular here.
3. I seriously doubt the number of cult support and/or niche fans who would buy this would offset the costs of marketing this game in the US.
Hey I'd like to play this too, don't get me wrong. But all those reasons = gg.

Mitsurugi? Yeah. Taki's in it too, and Charade is an enemy character. Soul Edge appears in the game as well.
