i have a 07 monte carlo LT and for some reason when i accelerate it sounds like a mild supercharger.but its only a stock 3.5L what the hell could be making that noise? thanks

@fkranger i know right man me too. but im just a ford guy and my whole family has fords including having owned 4 mustangs. so i just naturally love ford and would take a shelby. although i would take a lambo and sell it and then go buy and new shelby and a new f350

@ls1eater I never said it was a different supercharger.... I said why did they chage it (the sound/whine)? As in, why is mine (and the 4 other new GT500's i've been in) sound much quieter? The Ford mechanics said they did something to muffle the sound because people thought it was too loud in the cabin. I would have preferred the way my '08 sounded instead of my '10.
