@davidumpteen Id say Christians have always suceeded that just by becoming repentant confessing Christians. Islam and Catholicism is another issue. Catholicism calls itself Christian but make up its own rules and stance.. Basically It and Islam is modernized cruel Baal worship.

@matereo It took more than 1500 years for Christians to stop wallowing in medieval despotism and sectarian war (and they haven't completely succeeded at that). Any success was due to the secular ideas of the Age of Enlightenment, rooted in pagan ancient Greece, which brought people to question their religion. If some individuals are able to reconcile these secular ideas with their version of their religion, good for them. May the Muslim world find its own Enlightenment.

We have to get back to the original teachings of Jesus and His apostles and be a humble people who love and bless one another, even our enemies and those who persecute us. Persevere and grow our faith and hope during tribulation, In Mathew ch. 5-7, Romans ch. 5&12 Ephesians ch. 4-6, we are taught how Jesus wants us to walk daily in our faith and how we should treat others and handle persecution. Prepare our hearts individually not as a group for that is how we are judged, He is coming very soon.

The tables are turning on Islam in Europe now... it will be gone soon is my prediction, and with the birthrates they have the Islamic countries will starve and de in the worst famine the world has ever seen... I don't even think Islam will be permitted soon... Since other beliefs are not fully permitted in any Islamic society.

Thanks for this,let´s denounce to the world what Political Islam has done to Christians and Jews throughout the Middle East and for over 1400 years actually !It was mostly Jewish Christian before Islam !!!

there's a reason i put it in quotes. De conversion is more common to see, and is rising faster than the religions can keep up. Now, people are taught to be more rational and intelligent, and with that comes the death of religion. it's been said before, religion is a relic of the bronze age, now we're in the age of intelligence and physical knowledge. Oh my goodness this is so sad. The bible says we will be persecuted but I just pray these people stay true to Christ and realize the reward they will receive in Heaven. It's so hard not to hate the people responsible for all the deaths and violence but we are told to forgive and love everyone.
