  • clean it, clean it, clean it, new plastics, new tires, i would put a bunch of after market parts, needs numbers, clean it, and try blue magic polish, polishes amazing on my old frame, have an 03 and use scotch brite pad, i dont like polished frames on the 02 and up. clean it haha but nah nice bike, im looking for a 97 cr250

  • @113cross i had already bought another bike at the time of this rebuild so that i could sell it afterwards. Otherwise i would of got new plastics and cleaned it up real good, it was a wicked bike though i liked it.

  • where did you find the seat cover and shroud graphics at?? i have a 98 and I cant find anything good.

  • @VinnyG34 yeah i remember looking for shroud decals, very hard to find but look on ebay they are out there, same goes with the seat covers they show up on ebay

  • nice bike! what happend to the old yamaha 490?

  • @atractorkid7 i eneded up selling the 465, i bought this cr 250 and now i sold it and the bike i have now is a ktm 380sx

  • Did you have to disconnect anything in the powervalve system to remove the cylinder?

  • Does it matter which way the head gasket goes on?
