  • Yep, they can be pretty vicious towards each other. Great Horned owls are great hunters and are extremely opportunistic but they too can and are killed by eagles and other bubo owls and by even large Great Greys. Hawks will kill young owlets when they can. Hawks also love performing drive by hits on the big owls which has broken wings etc etc. On avg, Eagles easily outweigh Great Horned, Snowy, and Great Greys but the biggest advantage is who strikes who first and who is the more aggressive.

  • @Beefboy616 Actually it is not uncommon at all for a Great Horned Owl's to kill other large raptors including Bald Eagles, Red-Tailed Hawks, and other owl species. They're extremely ferocious and take full advantage of the nighttime hours to take a wide variety of species including skunks, cats, small dogs, rabbits, and other raptors to name a few.

  • @ Ilovemovie.. I doubt very much an owl could kill a large eagle like this one.

  • The owl might've been trying to get her to chase after, leaving the chicks unguarded.

  • 0:44-0:50 reminds me of paranormal activity when the gf just stares at the camera...also..they both have the same night vision camera!!

  • Glad these magnificent Eagles and their chicks survived.

    Beautiful birds.

  • She's the best mom in the world. So dedicated. So brave.

  • Mom & dad worked together this night

  • aww she is calling dad

  • Hahahaha I thought the ad that came up was for me until I saw the second cursor get rid of it.

Cool video though! Eagles have got to be the most awesome animals on the planet. It inspires me to be a falconer in a few years.
