@bafucin82 Mordred is the bastard son of Arthur and his half sister Morgan.(gross I know, in T.H. White's version she disguises herself and seduces Arthur) Merlin foretold that Arthur's son would destroy Arthur. nine months later, Arthur ordered that all babies less than a year old should be place in a bow and put out to sea. Mordred survived, and his rise to power and Guinevere's affair with Lancelot broke Arthur, leading to the decline of Camelot

@justcallmeSven Off the top of my head I know there's that one about a baby in a cradle just before the branches of the tree its in breaks. The melody and title escapes my mind at the moment, but there's also Ring Around the Rosey

@MarieXEdd Now that you say that, I could see that... oh, is your username Ed, Edd and Eddy related?
-
@bafucin82 Actually it is because Morgana was the eldest and Arthur "stole" the crown from her since she saw that it should have gone to her first. They were half siblings...

@fyredancer911 You are most welcome. :)
Therefore he is often portrayed as a villain in the legends but I've always sympathized with Mordred because he was raised for the sole purpose to take revenge on his father, Arthur. I don't know the reason for this but I think he didn't have such a good relationship with his father. Have I gotten it right? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Puh! Longest comment ever!
