These friendly people need tourists so that their privately owned restaurants, hotels, buses and attractions can survive. Join this small group tour that departs every December. Participants enjoy superb meals and high quality accommodation on a 15 day escorted tour, off the beaten track, in the footsteps of Rudyard Kipling. People who boycot Burma are only hurting the citizens of Burma. Oldie like you, with talk like that you will be an old man before your time. Joking aside we are going next mach (2010 ) and can't wait. Our itinerary will not give us much time to slow down, but maybe on the river. Judging by the hotels we have booked it looks like a fab holiday. Go on get it booked , you know it makes sense.

Burma looks a very interesting country and an easy trip for an oldie like me to join. The folks in those photos should slow things down to my speed. The riverboat looks rather relaxing and the hotel rooms look very civilised.
