Don't know the tune, but it starts off very similarly to 'The Hot Potato'. I have posted elsewhere that Powrie himself used 'Echoes of Oban' as the middle 64 bars. A 32 bar jig played twice doesn't reflect the composition of the dance which is 32/64/32 bars.
The dance's full title is Ian Powrie's Farewell to Auchterarder, often just called "Farewell to Auchterarder" in this part of the world (Vancouver, Canada). (Used as a dem dance by the RSCDS Vancouver Branch Demonstration Team during Burns Season 2008)
