@claudiabrena I entirely agree with you there; there should be no issue except that the LDS church did seek to affiliate itself in the political campaign. No tax-exempt organization can aid or promote a political campaign unless they withdraw their tax exempt status. The church extorted its community and forked $22 million for their intolerance (sorry, but if your campaign is to redact rights that were priorly issued, it is intolerance and unconstitutional) No tolerance is warranted by the LDS

What they actually did was extort their own community based on their tax income status to procure the $22 million big ones for the campaign. Kind of reminds one of the farmer who cut open the goose in the prospect of getting all the golden eggs...proph8 will soon be officially repealed as it is anything but constitutional.

Frankly, the taxation issue is pretty accurate; no non-taxed organization can promote for a campaign. Given the LDS church was held accountable for extorting $22 million...do I really need to explain WHY they should be taxed?

How could Prop 8 proponents even approach a dialogue based on tolerance???? Samae sex couples were granted the right to marry; prop 8 proponents campaigned to, yes, TAKE THOSE RIGHTS AWAY, hence intolerance. See how simple that is? People aren't forced to tolerate the KKK and the LDS has proven itself just as culpable. Maybe if you have enough tolerance to mind your own matters, the GLBT will reciprocate.
